Job Summary

This position requires teaching ENG 121 or ENG 122, English Composition I or English Composition II.

Instructors are needed at the Lakeshore Campus (Waukegan), Southlake Campus (Vernon Hills), as well as the main campus in Grayslake.

Required Qualification

Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or Literature, or MFA in Writing (completed before the teaching assignment begins).

This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching needs arise, applications will be reviewed for possible interviews. The number of adjunct faculty hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Adjunct faculty hires and assignments are coordinated by the department chairs.

Total Hours per week 3 hours per section.
Work Schedule

Depending on number of sections assigned, instructors teach 3 to 9 hours per week, Monday – Saturday, morning to evening.
