Job Summary

The Development Specialist reports to the Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Manager. Primary responsibilities include coordinating fund raising activities/tactics (such as fund raising special events and alumni relations events) in alignment with Foundation’s vision, mission, strategies and annual fund raising plan. Development Specialist works closely with other CLC Foundation staff, CLC Foundation board members, CLC Alumni Association members and CLC staff members.

Required Qualification

1. Education: 4 year degree required.
2. Two or more years of events coordination experience and/or non-profit development experience.
3. Fund Raising Software expertise in Raiser’s Edge, Auction Maestro.
4. Strong computer proficiency: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
5. Excellent organizational abilities with acute attention to detail, with high level of accuracy.
6. Strong people skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2. Has knowledge of events logistics and coordination as fund raising events.
