Job Summary

Provide tutorial support to high school students in one or more of the following areas – Mathematics, Science, and English.

- Leads and provides tutoring in English, Math or Science.
- Leads study sessions, as needed, utilizing identified curriculum software and on-line products
- Provides ACT Prep sessions, as needed (1-on-1 or small group)
- Completes attendance sheets and tracks progress
- Performs other duties, as needed and/or assigned

Required Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience as a certified teacher, certified substitute teacher, certified tutor, or tutor
- Has the experience of working with or the ability to work well with low-income, first-generation students of diverse backgrounds

Desired Qualifications

-Experience teaching or tutoring
-Conversational Spanish-speaking ability is desired.
