Job Summary

Peer Mentors will assist in supporting CLC’s short-term exchange students from Ehime, Japan.

Peer mentors will serve as a guide and as a social connection to the College of Lake County, and surrounding area, from September 10th – September 27th, 2017.

Required Qualification

1. A current (full-time or part-time) CLC student or an alum of one of CLC’s Study Abroad Programs, having attended CLC for at least one full semester.
2. Available to assist with welcoming the students and with all planned activities
3. Must demonstrate interest in intercultural issues.
4. Should be comfortable communicating with students who have limited English language skills.
5. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
